    Remarks & Notes
State Railway of Thailand #1020 throttles up past the manually operate Semaphore Signal on the outskirts of Sisaket, Thailand. This train is a local train, so it will stop at nearly every minor station between Ubon Ratchatani and Nakhon Ratchsima. On the Northeastern Line between Bangkok and Ubon, there are stations interspersed about every 10km, to serve this impoverished farming region, as well as providing scores of passing sidings along this busy, but manually controlled railroad. Here, the token system of operation reigns, requiring many sidings for safe train operation.
