Remarks & Notes

A lasting remnant of the Toledo, Port Clinton and Lakeside Railway at Clay Center, Ohio, this abutment has long outlasted the rest of the Interurban Railway which lasted as a freight hauler into 1958. NYC, PC, CR and NS trains have been going by it for years on the Water Level Route.
