Southern Pacific's Roseville, CA to Grand Junction, CO manifest climbs east through Spanish Fork Canyon on March 6, 1993. The head end pulls 74 cars while a trio of Rio Grande tunnel motors shove on the rear of the train. Only 14 SP SD45R units received the new speed lettering.
