Remarks & Notes

The NS Nickel Plate heritage unit leads the Chicago to Ayer, MA intermodal train as it nears its yarding stop at Mechanicville, NY. Fresh snow from the previous day greets the train at the junction of CP and Pan Am (on the left). This is NS train 206 and runs with Mechanicville stacks and autoracks and Ayer autoracks.
