Mid Michigan RR GP9 5967 (exC&O) leads a string of boxcars over the Flat River bridge in Belding, MI. Loaded at the Frigidaire Appliance factory in Greenville, MI, the cars are en route to interchange with the CSX's Detroit-Grand Rapids line at Elmdale. In 2005, the Frigidaire Plant closed taking the bulk of MMRR's business with it. With little on-line traffic remaining, a decision was granted to abandon the line in 2008.
