    Remarks & Notes
Three of the six A4 Pacifics are lined up at Shildon on the Friday of the celebration, "The Great Goodbye". The engines are Sir Nigel Gresley, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Bittern. The lighting was poor at 9:18 in the morning but pre-admission meant no large crowd. The Gresley and Bittern were under steam.
