| A somewhat interesting consist was on the head end of this coal empty on a snowy March afternoon. Sandwiched smack in the middle of the five units is a BNSF C44-9W! Sure, railroads pool power...but it was quite unusual to find see a unit with DC traction motors on a coal train! On a side note, the sharp-looking AC4400CW on the point started life as SP 295. |
