Power on UP's Moffat Route west of Denver is usually BNSF, UP, and Amtrak power. On some occasion, foreign power does show up but usually trailing. Today, BNSF's Provo, UT to Denver, CO trackage rights manifest had two Norfolk Southern units for power. Approaching the Blue Mountain Road crossing is NS no. 9463 as the train eases down the grade in Coal Creek Canyon west of Denver.
