Remarks & Notes

A trio of class units, F7 800, GP38 2000, and U36C 3600 sit under the sanding tower in the Erwin yard on the Clinchfield RR. Its evident that a journey 50 yards to the south to the wash rack wouldn't be a bad idea as the units all are subject to the theory of "they run just as good dirty as they do clean" mentality that management had. 35mm slide from my collection, photographer unknown.
