With dark clouds and storms surrounding Lombard, Montana, on the afternoon of June 17, 2014, a BNSF coal train snakes along the Missouri River in scenic Lombard Canyon on Montana Rail Link’s Second Subdivision. BNSF GE ES44DC No. 7491 leads a leased Canadian Pacific GE AC4400CW and a BNSF EMD SD70MAC are head end power for the westbound train.
