| Moon over Morgan – A morning eastbound train to NYC passes by some nice homes overlooking the Raritan Bay. Morgan, a subsection of Sayreville, holds some interesting history. Morgan was settled in the 1700s by the relatives of Captain Henry Morgan. The Morgan’s were strong supporters of the American Revolution and during that time this bluff overlooking the bay was used to monitor enemy ship movements in and out of New York Harbor. |
