As Positive Train Control (PTC) legislature gets closer in 2015, more and more signals are being replaced with a standard newer signal. Search light signals like this intermediate signal east of Galesburg are becoming a thing of the past. Lots of stuff has changed on the Trascon Mainline for BNSF, but somethings still wait for time to catch up. For now the clear night passes by.
