Pan Am Railways operated a deadhead Office Car Special (OCS) trip on August 19, running the train from East Deerfield, Massachusetts, to Hoosick Junction, New York, where it was turned and returned to North Adams, Massachusetts, for a Governor Special on August 20. Making a brief passage through the southwestern corner of Vermont, the train heads westbound through North Pownal.
