The abandoned tower at Dunton now sits idle as its functions are now controlled by Jamaica Control Center, rendering this tower, Jay and Hall useless other than a hangout for signalmen. Two iconic Queens landmarks are the sand tower in the background and the "Running Man" graffiti tag on the signal box which can be seen locally on box trucks and NYC subway infrastructure.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
