The danish state railways DSB recived their first 4 GM diesel-electric locomotives class MY in 1954. They were built in Sweden on a GM-license. The very first was MY 1101, and it is preserved by the danish national railwaymuseum in running condition. Due to the 60 year jubilee of MY 1101 is has just been repainted to its original design.
