Remarks & Notes

After being chased down the Connecticut River Valley all afternoon by a pack of fans, the crew still gives a friendly wave as they roll their beautiful Boston & Maine heritage unit the final mile into East Deerfield Yard. This GP9 was built as B&M 1738 in June 1957, so is a true heritage unit.
