Nine SD26 and SD24's led an eastbound Santa Fe manifest train up Cajon Pass near Sullivans Curve. This is the normal for the time York Canyon to Kaiser Steel coal train power that was routinely used to haul freight over the pass to Barstow and return while the coal train was being unloaded at Kaiser.
