While the color most of the way up to Boyne Falls, MI. was a bit flat until Kalkaska, MI. Once we were clear of Kalkaska, the color suddenly was all over, and it was spectacular everywhere we looked, and was best at the bottom of Elmira Hill just north of Elmira, MI. The SRI Fall Color Train races north past the color, which certainly satisfied the patrons aboard.
