    "Walking down Monroe Street"

The long awaited movement of the last surviving EL U34CH from Garfield, NJ to Boonton, NJ occurred on Wednesday October 29 2014. This movement would take the locomotive from Garfield where it has sat for the last 10 plus years to its new home in Boonton, NJ; the base of operations for the URHS (United Railroad Historical Society.) It is there that this locomotive will undergo a full cosmetic restoration and in time this engine may even turn a wheel under its own power again. The event was well attended for the URHS announced this move on their public Facebook page as the funds to cover this move were entirely from donations made by the railfan community.
