Remarks & Notes

Although a product of the 1950's, when automotive, aircraft and even rail power incorporated sleek, space-age streamlining, the G8 looked more like a rolling brick. While not necessarily the prettiest engine type in the yard, this design was reliable and efficient at moving freight.
