'Operation Stack' - a queue of lorries (trucks) about five miles (8kms) long wait patiently to cross the English Channel over to France whilst the 10.58 Eurostar service to Brussels speeds past in the background. The traffic had been delayed due to a 'smouldering' lorry on a shuttle followed by a freak power failure in the Channel Tunnel.
