| The Sydney to Melbourne XPT races over Victoria's highest railway bridge - The Maribyrnong River Viaduct - in Melbourne's north western suburbs. The bridge opened as part of the Albion-Jacana goods line in 1929, and today carries the standard gauge mainline from Sydney, as well as the broad gauge goods line. |
