| Engineer Davis and crew have their 4 MACs and 51 empty flatcars well in hand. While all that power isn't necessary for the trip south to Seward all of that horsepower will be required to get the loads north over Divide and Grandview Hills as they both have grades in excess of 2%. This time of year the railroad will unload barges of lumber, fracing sand and pipe in Seward and haul north to Anchorage and Fairbanks. |
