| This picture shows the result of power distribution. All the locomotives in the image came out as one consist. First, the power set shoved back to cut loose UP 8611 sitting between the two trains. Then the power set move back out to reverse to the train set where UP 7797 and UP 8107 were cut loose. The final set of power with UP 8712 leading moved out and reversed to hook up with the train set. A few minutes after this image was shot, UP 8611 would move down the track where it could be moved into position to hook up at the rear of the train with UP 7797 in the lead. |
