Remarks & Notes

Winter has no schedule. A frozen switch causes delay and requires more than just the local's crew to thaw out. Traffic is backed up on the Conemaugh while MOW crew gets out the rosebud to melt the snow and ice that has accumulated between the switch points. A small delay to get the job done properly is better than a big delay to re-rail a car that goes to the ground.
