| A Union Pacific SD24 awaits its next move at the US Post Office warehouse near the UP passenger station in Salt Lake City. The UP once rostered 34 SD24 'A' units with cabs and 45 'B' cabless booster units, built between 1958 and 1960. By 1979 the 'B' units were retired and by 1985 the 'A' units were retired and off the roster as well. |
