On a beautiful spring day in the Tehachapi Mountains, a westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight snakes through Bealville, California, on March 14, 2005. A pair each of GE C44-9Ws and EMD SD40-2s, all in different paint schemes, power the train.
