Remarks & Notes

A pair of General Electric 125 ton, 3000 Volt 'Magna Motors' lead a 90 car train of copper ore empties to the Bingham Canyon Copper Mine on April 8, 1977. Built in 1947, the Magna Motors worked Kennecott's 16 mile CTC equipped ore haulage line, only to be replaced by SD40-2's within a year.
