The SBB gets 8 new highspeed tilting trains of the ETR 610 series from Alstom, labeled RABe 503 011-018, and another 4 trains were on order since recently. This will bring the total fleet to 19 trainsets in 2017, destined for the traffic between Switzerland and Italy via Simplon and Gotthard. RABe 503 015 and 016, the two newest of the fleet in the moment, are returning from a test run to Premosello (south of Domodossola/Italy) in multiple, and are running to Geneva between Salgesch and Sierre.
