Just for a few moments, the sun finds a hole in the clouds and lights a trio of local service locomotives in UP's Russellville yard. Leading is 2252, which started life on DT&I, followed by GMTX 2299 (originally PC) and UP GP40-2 9990 (originally WP). Seconds later the light was gone, just as two more leasers, their work at southside industries finished for the day, rolled in. Visible beyond te locos is evidence of the recent signal upgrade - a signal mast just beyond the engine track, and a lit red signal indicating that a yard track on the other side of the main is occupied.
