Here we see Amtrak's Los Angeles bound Southwest Chief #3 as it slowly negotiates the twists and turns of scenic Glorieta Pass on a cool and breezy mid-April afternoon. Decorated in the phase III paint scheme, this train features Heritage unit #145 as the lead locomotive. Also, attached to the rear are 3 Private railcars: The Texas Special, Cimarron River, and Caritas. They're only a few of many cars bound for Albuquerque, NM to partake in an upcoming AAPRCO Special.
