A pre-Halloween blizzard in Colorado finds a westbound hi-rail inspecting Union Pacific’s Moffat Tunnel Subdivision west of Clay on October 23, 2006. The crew will soon be stopping at Blue Mountain Crossing and getting off the rails and clearing up in these dicey weather conditions, especially for a hi-rail vehicle.
