On this day, a rather authentic steam passenger train of the 1920'/1930' circulated from Zürich to G?schenen and back, organized by some enthusiast of the association steam group Zürich (Verein Dampfgruppe Zürich, VDZ). The 5 two axle passenger cars (the baggage car the three axle F3 # 18275) had to be collected from Delémont, Buchs (SG), Romanshorn and Bauma. The empty train is now on the way back to Brugg (AG) in the evening, leaving Schlieren after a short stop to let by other faster trains. The coal from Wales/Great Britain, which is used now for the SBB Historic locomotives, has a very good heat value, but produces nearly no smoke.....
