Remarks & Notes

One of the last SD70MACs built for the Burlington Northern (#9708, built 12-1995) suns itself in Topeka, KS on the former business car track, while the recently arrived LNG test set hangs out by the shops. The 9708 is power for the KPL coal train, while the 5815 and 9131 arrived in Topeka last week after cold-weather testing in MN and ND concluded.
