| A Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad track inspector doffs his hard hat as he cruises by mile 468.5 on the way to Rockwood, Colorado, inspecting the track ahead of the first train of the day on August 22, 2003. D&SNG uses motor cars (also sometimes referred to as pop cars and speeders) to inspect the track ahead of and behind trains operated on the line. |
