Land o' Goshen! Tied down the the day in Goshen, California, is San Joaquin Valley Railroad GP40 440. This engine's heritage is evident by the old paint job, revealing it to be the former Florida East Coast 440. (California's Central Valley is a far cry from the coastline of Florida!) Built in October 1966 as Milwaukee Road GP40 197, this engine was later renumbered MILW 2023, and then Soo Line 2023.
