Three SD40-2s pull an eastbound manifest through Serpentine Canyon in failing afternoon light. The EMD 645-16s in these 40s were making a wonderful, deep-throated sound that is often missing with today's modern, muffled power. The Canyon is a beautiful place at this time in the afternoon.
