Remarks & Notes

With the merger of the Chicago & North Western into the Union Pacific in 1995, solid consists of CNW power were common way out west. CNW 8714, CNW 8630, and CNW 6932 pull a 99 car Yermo to North Platte drag freight into Salt Lake City for a crew change. This right of way is now occupied by Utah Transit Authority's FrontRunner commuter rail line.
