A rebuilt former Great Northern GP-30 wears an updated version of its original colors as it lays over for the night at SIP. When first rebuilt by Burlington Northern, this class of locomotives was designated GP-39M, but now the frame is marked GP-39-2. And, since its rebuild, it has been outfitted with remote controls and new air conditioners.
