| The Harrisonburg yard was quite full today with these for units in the normal tie down spots while two more NS & two UP units brought up the rear near the old depot. But what caught my eye the most was the second unit on the main line #7012 and its fresh coat of paint. Hardly any road dust and the only blemish was the rusted water stains on the side of the fuel tank. After doing a search on Rail Pictures.net for this unit, I found only one post and it was by Chris Wallace. According to his post the unit was at the Juniata shop in Altoona, PA in May of this year, only it was then unit 6615/EMD 60 under going a rebuild. This unit is now on duty in Harrisonburg on the V92 Elkton Line where it will bring the loads in daily from NS's Shenandoah yard. |
