    Remarks & Notes
Built by EMD in August 1973 as Chicago & North Western 6806, this engine became Union Pacific 2955 with the UP-CNW merger in 1995. The UP retired this SD40-2 on April 6th, 2009, and by September 2009 this engine was getting painted in the Tri-City Railroad's paint scheme, as their engine number 31. Photographed on railroad property with permission and full PPE.
