| A train in Saranac Lake - soon to be a thing of the past? Ex-PRR GP9 ADIX 6076 (never chop-nosed) is at Saranac Lake and will leave eastbound for Lake Placid at 1300. This section of the Adirondack Scenic Railroad is very much in danger, as the state of New York has tentatively agreed to tear up the tracks in favor of a rail trail. Unfortunately scenes such as this one may become a thing of the past. |
