      Remarks & Notes
Jersey Central’s HX tower in Palmerton, Pennsylvania has long been abandoned, and the graffiti artists have started to make their claim to its brick walls. HX controlled Hazard interlocking, which provided access to a yard that was the interchange with the New Jersey Zinc Company’s Chestnut Ridge Railway. The power of Conrail local WJAL-19 is backing up the Chestnut Ridge’s lifeline to have lunch at a local sandwich shop.
