| Deep in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains finds Georgia Northeastern GP9 #6576 working the 'Hole Run' on the Marble Hill branch. The train is working the grade to the 'upper mud head' switch back with three loaded marble hoppers. Conductor Jeff prepares to swing off the 57 year old EMD to throw the switch after the train pulls past and shove hard back up the grade into Tate. |
