Historic shoot ! All postal trainsets are now waiting to be scrapped and have been transferred at the Abérieu yard. The Postal high speed service have stopped on June 27th 2015 and this yellow TGV will be scrapped in few month like the others SE (South-Est) high speed generation. This yellow trainset is "La Poste" property and the maintenance cost is to expensive regarding the service provided. Now in France a letter or a parcel will be delivered in the best case 2 or 3 days after posting. Before it was next posting day ! This is progress... This shoot have been taken few days before the end of high speed postal service, this postal high speed train is leaving the La Poste Charolais depot after a trip with parcels and letters from south of France to go to maintenance session at the SNCF Conflans shop. It is with trolley on this platform that letters and parcels are charged inside the train. Another high speed postal trainset is also present on the back track.
