Just days before this locomotive cab was cut up, the metal husk was thrown into the scrap heap in Cresson, Pennsylvania. The cab spent about a week in Cresson, being stripped of salvageable parts / electronics. Unfortunately, the SD90MAC cabs have rotted beyond repair and are beyond their usable lifespan.
Meanwhile, at the Juniata Shops, the rest of the locomotive is being completely rebuilt and is awaiting a brand new EMD locomotive cab. (not a Crescent cab)
