A few years ago UP ran an Operation Life Saver special on the former Rio Grande Craig Branch. A friend and I drove up the night before and took a few night photos in the Phippsburg Yard. The next morning we chased the train from P-burg to Steamboat where we boarded the train to ride to Craig and return. Although it was UP and my beloved Rio Grande it was an excellent trip.
