Welcome to the United States portion of the 2015 Canadian Pacific Railway Holiday Train tour! CP train 01H-27 - the "Ho Ho" train - is seen rolling southbound on the Freight Mainline Subdivision at Plattsburgh, NY, behind CP GP20-ECO #2246. The train is making a three-night start in the US this year and will be headed back into Canada late on Sunday evening. Lighting is 4 Alien Bees B1600s. Special thanks to my son Riley who wound up holding one light in place as I was one weight short tonight and the 20 mph gusts would have played heck with the flash :-)
