World’s largest 0-8-4
Basking in the sun on the Cheyenne turntable is Union Pacific northern No. 838 with EMD SW10 No. 96. At this point in history on October 8, 2008, the 4-8-4 is missing its two-axle forward pilot wheels, allowing it to masquerade as a “0-8-4”
