Amtrak SW1000R 793 was seen working Washington DC's Union Station on January 22nd, 2015. Built by EMD 62 years earlier, in January 1953, as Montour SW9 82, this engine was later rebuilt with a 645E prime mover and reclassified as an SW1000R.
